Lovely decor and no check-in hassle!
Staying here was super chill. The room was so nicely decorated with grey tones—really cozy! I loved avoiding any awkward check-ins. just got a code for my room. The bar area was a nice spot to wind down, but I could hear some noise from outside that made it a bit tough to sleep.

I stayed for 2 nights in a Single Room. The staff were fantastic—super accommodating! The private parking and entrance from the rear car park made things easy, and the location gave great access to local eateries.

The absence of breakfast on-site is a letdown, especially with nothing nearby open on Sundays. If you're planning an early start, Saturday night's live band can be disruptive, running late into the night. I found the room to be uncomfortably warm, even with a fan. being on the front, road noise combined with the heat made it a struggle to find peace. A bit pricey given these issues too.

The location was great, close to local restaurants, and the staff were welcoming. The room felt warm and cozy, perfect for a comfortable stay. the pub below had loud music that made it tough to sleep early. Nevertheless, the private entrance was a nice touch.

Staying in the Superior Double Room was really nice! The room was spacious and it felt like it was recently updated with cool stuff like USB sockets next to the bed and a fancy touch lamp. The bathroom was also in great shape with a large shower. Plus, the entry code system made check-in a breeze, no waiting around. I really appreciated how clean and comfy it was throughout.

Just a prime choice for a short staycation in Stocksbridge with great value for money. The access to the rooms provided a real adventure when taking my luggage down the fire escape. Make sure to check the weather as you might need an umbrella!

the friendship hotel was really nice and clean! loved the easy check-in with just a code. the room was modern and cozy with everything i needed. the back entrance is super handy if ur trying to avoid the pub. it’s a good spot for a chill stay, def recommend it!
but be warned, it can get kinda noisy from the pub below and also from the steel mill nearby, so might need earplugs at night.
